Dr. Phil has been involved in repairing vehicles out all sorts for over 20 years now. Twenty years back Phil started in the industry as a mechanics helper changing the brooms at a local street sweeper outfit. Today, Phil specializes diagnosing & repairing today's most technically advanced cars in the world. As a result, I find myself spending hundreds of hours & spending thousands of dollars a year on advanced diagnostic training. Phil has been ASE certified in several areas of repair since 1995. Phil has also owned & operated a traditional "brick & mortar" repair shop for three years prior to offering mobile repair. Let, Dr. Phil's vast experience work for you, as part of his service to you & your car.

You may notice we don't operate like most shops you have dealt with in the past. We don't advertise to be your "One Stop Shop" nor do we service all vehicles & makes mainly because its almost impossible to achieve in a timely & accurate manner in this day & age. As you know people have different strengths & weaknesses, and Auto Technicians are no different. As a result most shops are ill equipped to handle certain repairs....but they will never tell you that. Instead they demand the tech fix the car regardless of his experience or detailed repair information available to him, which may be non existent. That puts the Tech working on your car basically "guessing" on what repairs are needed. Guess what....you end up paying for all that "guessing", it is a common occurrence and it happens more than you think. With that said, you won't come across that when you deal with Dr. Phil's Automotive...we tell you outright..if we're not proficient in that area of repair, we'll let you know what needs to be replaced & recommend a qualified Technician who can, whenever possible.

Another area where Dr. Phil's is different is the way we advertise. We advertise strictly online & through word of mouth referrals. The main reason for this is for customers to get a feel for our services & maybe even learn a little something about there car. We don't try to get you in the door promising you everything...only for you to feel uneasy about the shop once the job is sold.
